Questions to ask when enquiring about horses.

Where did you see the add?
How long has it been advertised? Is it advertised anywhere else?
Name of horse? Is this its official name?  Is it registered ? Who with? 
Breed of the horse? Does it have breed papers? 
Cost- is this negotiable? Does it include GST?
Height
 age?
experience
Name of owner? Is the same as the person selling it?
How long have they owned it?
Why are they selling it?
Does this horse do any of the following?
Windsuck
Weave
Pull back
Kick
Bite
Rear
Buck
Pigroot
What sort of mouth does this horse have? Does it pull? What sort of gear do you ride it in.
What is it like in a float? Is it good to load?
What is it like with other horses?
Do you think this horse would suit a rider like me? (ie tall and not very experienced).
Has this horse had any injuries, illness or lamenesses?
Would you allow me to have this horse for a weeks trial at my instructors property?
Do you have any other horses for sale? (They could be a dealer).
Who has been riding this horse and what sort of work has it been doing?
When was it last worked?
Do you have a DVD or video of this horse you can send me?
