Coach Training can be fun and rewarding! As well as our regular Wednesday afternoon Coach Training sessions we have just completed a very successful 2 Day Coach Workshop on 20th & 27th September here at our Nelson Equestrian Centre.

Colleen Brook, who is a Level 3 Coach and Assessor was my co presenter. On the first day we were privelaged to have the EFA Education Manager, Brad Patterson speak on the EFA & NCAS infrastructure and Insurance. Brad is a wealth of information and was able to answer all the questions put to him by our enthusiastic group of Trainee Coaches.

Attendees included some who travelled quite a distance: from Orange, Aimee & Leah, and Alison from Kangaroo Valley, and Alex from Coffs Harbour, & some who are quite famous showjumping riders: Shelley, Hillary & Aaron, some from overseas- Johari, some locals- Ruth, Rebecca, Alex P, Hellen.

Thanks to our Demo riders- and to Grandma for putting on the great lunches. Everyone learnt a lot and as Coach Educators it was very rewarding for us! Have a look at the photos and enjoy the hilarious shots of Helen's class practing shoulder in on foot!
