Considering
Coach Training? Christine offers Coach Training sessions weekly
for Trainee Coaches of all levels.
Having served as the NSW NCAS State Coordinator for over a year
in 2001-2002 she is well versed in the NCAS system and has 100%
success rate with all candidates she has prepared for exams.
Other Coach Educators are brought in regularly to assist with training
and assessing such as Colleen Brook Level 3, Debbie Stewart Level
3, Alex Clarke Level 2. Suitable exam horses can be arranged.

The
recent two day Coach Workshop held at Nelson Equestrian Centre on
22nd & 29th March was considered by all that attended to be a huge
success!!
Organised
by Christine Johnson NCAS Level2 CE and Colleen Brook NCAS Level
3 CE , the clinic was a compulsory 2 day Face to Face Workshop for
Introductory Coaches and also served as an updating clinic for accreditted
Coaches.
Guest speaker on Day 1 was Brad Patterson - the EFA National Education
Manager, pictured left with Johari Lee. Jo is a Level 2 trainee
from Malaysia who is taking a year off from his position as manager
of the Perak Equestrian Centre to train for his Level 2 Certificate.
Jo is based at Chatham Park and is training with George & Rachel
Sanna and Christine Bates.
Guest speaker on Day 2 was Dr John Konke, renown vet, nutritionist
and author, pictured below with some of the workshop attendees.
Afternoon sessions on both days were devoted
to lesson planning and practical teaching. Other topics covered

COACHING & DEMONSTRATION
Participants witness two different demonstration lessons, explaining
how to implement the 5 stages of a successfull lesson from a lesson
plan. ie,(Introduction, Gear Check, Explanation, Demonstration,
Execution and Conclusion)
Future
Workshops have beeen approved for 21st & 28th June and 20th & 27th
